Acupuncture
Acupuncture initial visit
We will spend extra time together going over your initial intake forms and making sure we understand your medical history and design an effective treatment plan. This takes up to 1.5 hours for assessment and treatment. I do accept various insurance plans like Aetna and United Healthcare, but I am no longer accepting Anthem Blue Cross or Kaiser. Call or email me to see if your plan is covered.
Acupuncture Repeat Visit
If you are looking for just acupuncture in your session, choose this option. We will identify your needs through a question and answer intake and use various acupuncture points to lead you to a state of wellness. $10 discount for pre-paid packages of 10 sessions.

Microneedling Facial

You’ll be in the hands of a well-trained and experienced micro-needling technician. This is a 'next-level' facial treatment which resurfaces the outer layers of the face, neck, décolletage and/or hands and body. The AcuMicroPen is a high quality microneedling device that can treat acne scars, fine lines and wrinkles, hyper/hypo-pigmentation, stretch marks, alopecia and more. Cosmetic AcuFacial
Receive a therapeutic acu-facial that includes facial massage and the insertion of tiny needles along the acupuncture points of the face. Distal points are also used and treatment may include neck and décolletage. This treatment increases energy and blood flow to face, nourishes tissue. Facial acupuncture needles increase circulation and cause micro injuries, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin to make skin look more youthful and firm. With ongoing treatment sessions, you may see a reduction in fine lines, more firmness, and a smoother texture. It’s also believed to help reduce puffiness, combat acne, and lighten under-eye dark circles.

What is Dermaplaning? Dermaplaning is a method of exfoliation that consists of using a 10 gauge scalpel at a 45 degree angle to gently scrape off the top layer of dulling dead skin cells and vellus hair (peach fuzz) in order to reveal a smoother, brighter complexion. Dermaplaning also allows for greater penetration of skincare products and creates a flawless canvas for makeup to glide on smoothly. In fact, cosmetic dermatologists often use dermaplaning to help prepare skin for more intrusive procedures such as laser treatments and chemical peels. Dermaplaning is recommended for all skin types except those with acne skin. If you have deep cystic acne, wait until breakouts are clear before trying this treatment. As always, also discuss any allergies or skin sensitivities before starting a treatment. This is a great treatment if you are pregnant or nursing and want exfoliation without the risk of harsh chemicals absorbing into the blood stream and potentially harming your baby.There are no side effects and zero downtime. After the treatment, your skin will be highly sensitive to sun exposure and may already look very pink, so be sure to wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher to reduce the risk of hyperpigmentation. You’ll immediately look more radiant with a more even skin tone and texture. All of your peach fuzz will be gone, which is why first-timers say their skin has never felt so soft before. Dermaplaning removes 21 days worth of dead skin cells, so it’s best to allow the skin to complete its rejuvenation cycle before your next treatment.
